With our mobile repair workshop carried on the back of our e-cargo bike, WACC travels around the Wellington region fixing bikes and teaching people how to fix their own.
We're dedicated to empowering everyone to get on their own two wheels and ride. WACC is a women-led company committed to improving gender diversity in the bike scene. |
Tēnā koutou, we're Steph and Phoebe, WACC co-directors
We are bike mechanics and educators based in Wellington/Whanganui a Tara. We got hooked on fixing bikes through cycle touring and community bike workshops. We both love that bicycles are empowering and liberating, efficient and practical, and of course sustainable and climate-friendly.
WACC grew out of our desires to see more female faces in the cycling spaces we were in, and to channel our environmental concerns in to a sustainable business.
